After six and 1/2 hours in the car, two stops, three viewings of "The Aristocats", and one of "The Little Mermaid", we made it to Jackson! It is always MORE of a holiday when you are able to spend it with family. And this Easter was certainly no exception. We began the festivities on Saturday, with an egg-hunt at Strawberry Park. (Isn't that just the perfect "happy park" name?) The weather was perfect! And Rebecca had a fantastic time with cousin Kennedy.
Ready, set,..........wait! See Uncle Ricky's hand on Rebecca's shoulder? She didn't quite understand the concept of "waiting for the whistle". But once the "hunt" began, she looked like an egg-hunting pro. Kennedy had more discriminating tastes, searching out and collecting only the pink eggs!
Of course, there was an Easter Bunny. There was a craft table where the girls made beaded necklaces, and a cake walk.
